Now Welcoming New Clients!
🗓️ September 2025 Group Therapy Series Begins Soon!
Welcome to You Are Enough! Step into a space where compassion meets healing. We're so glad you're here—because your story matters, and your journey toward feeling whole starts now.
I’m LaShanda Collins, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in New Roads, Louisiana. I specialize in guiding children, teens, and adults through emotional and behavioral challenges—empowering them to find healing, build resilience, and reclaim confidence. From managing depression and anxiety to navigating ADHD and defiance, I offer compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to each individual’s journey. My mission is to help every client unlock their potential and move forward with strength and purpose.
I offer therapy for adults facing life’s major transitions—college adjustments, healing from childhood trauma, coping with self-harm, and managing emotional challenges. My approach is rooted in compassion and evidence-based strategies, but more than that, it’s about creating a space that feels like a deep breath after the storm. Imagine sitting together in a quiet room, where your story is heard without judgment, and each insight becomes a stepping stone toward clarity, resilience, and renewal. Together, we’ll unpack your experiences and rebuild a life that feels whole and deeply fulfilling.
Are you a PLPC seeking expert supervision and mentorship on your path to licensure? I am currently accepting PLPCs for structured, supportive supervision to enhance clinical skills, build confidence, and navigate the journey toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. Let’s work together to foster professional growth and create meaningful change in the lives of those you serve.
Therapy should be accessible—and I'm committed to making that possible. I accept Aetna Medicaid, over 150 insurance plans, and private pay options to meet you where you are. If you're unsure whether therapy fits your budget, please reach out. We’ll explore flexible solutions together, because your well-being deserves priority. Healing begins the moment you ask for help—and I'm here to walk that journey with you.

If you’re seeking therapy services for a child aged 5 to 12, or if you’re covered by Aetna Medicaid, I encourage you to reach out. You can complete the contact form on this page to request a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This initial conversation allows us to explore your child’s needs and determine whether we’re a good fit for working together.
-
To start, I offer a complimentary consultation to assess your needs and determine whether we are a suitable match for working together. Should we decide to proceed, my standard session fee is $120.00. Please note that this rate may vary if you are utilizing out-of-network benefits.
-
I am in-network with Aetna-Medicaid and accept a total of 149 different insurance plans. Additionally, I accept private pay.
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Most insurance companies will reimburse a portion of my fee if you submit a superbill, which I will provide.
Please note that insurance companies typically only cover specific types of therapy and may require access to your private health information, including progress notes, goals, payment details, and session limits. Additionally, many clients have high-deductible plans, meaning you may need to pay out-of-pocket until the deductible is met.
Paying privately for therapy allows you more flexibility and control over your sessions, including the option for longer sessions, which can be beneficial for certain therapeutic approaches.
-
First Appointment: The initial session typically includes an assessment to gather information about your background, concerns, and therapy goals.
Discussion: You'll share your reasons for seeking therapy, any relevant mental health history, and the issues you wish to address.
